Kate darby architects Kda is an architecture and design practice based in Herefordshire with a focus on making place speciFIc architecture Through careful analysis of site, context and clients' requirements. KDA aims to make bespoke buildings that are locally distinctive and particular to the needs and characteristics of each commission. THE TEAMKate Darby Kate Darby is an RIBA chartered architect and is principal of KDA. She studied architecture at the bartlett and the Architectural association. She has combined pracTIce with teaching and research since 1997. She is currently leader of Unit xv, A 5TH YEAR DESIGN STUDIO AT WSA, CARDIFF UNIVERSITY. she is also visiting Tutor for Design and Make at the aa in Hooke Park. She is co-founder of collaboraTIve workshop, Studio in the Woods and is a collaborator in the design pracTICe Invisible Studio. prior to founding KDA she worked for Gianni Botsford Architects in London as A project architect on 'Light House'. |
